Welp I finally decided to create a blog. I've always wanted to have a journal, but I'm not much of a secret diary kind of guy. I like to hear peoples opinions and advice, and after reading so many of Jordyn Standage's blog (#JOURNEYINGWITHJORDYN) I decided I would really like to blog.
For anyone who doesn't know me my name is Logan Burleigh Loosli, and no Burleigh is not my middle name but the name of my birth family. Just some personal background info I was born here in Utah on April 23, 1996. I've never lived out of state, and I don't think I ever want to.
I was adopted right after I was born, and I will love my adoptive family till the day I die. They are my family, but not my only family. In 2011 I had the extreme pleasure of meeting all of my birth brothers and sisters. They are wonderful. Unfortunately both of my birth parents died when I was very young, but I'm very grateful that I have my siblings. They've been extremely supportive and I love as much as I love the family I was raised with. I'm extremely proud of all of them. I love my family. I love both of them.
I was raised into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It's an amazing Church and along with my parents taught me how to be a good person, to have respect for others, how to live a good long healthy live. However as I've gotten older, I've started to grow away from the Church. I've expanded my horizon and found it to be very eye opening. There's so much out there that the Church doesn't offer that is so incredibly good for you. The Church is great however my philosophy is: We are all so different, and different things make different people happy, so why should one church be the best thing for you? I have nothing against the LDS church its a great Church and I still go every now and again however I've found that it's just not for me. I have a testimony in God but nothing else.
When I was 15 I was diagnosed with bi polar disorder. It's something I struggle and deal with every day of my life. On another day I'll probably post about what it's like to live with it, but for now I'll leave it be. I'm just grateful I learned about it early so I can learn to cope with it now.
Other than that I'm just a regular 17 year old kid going to high school at Alta. So that's me. I hope you guys enjoy my future blog posts. Also the biggest thing with me is feedback so please I'm not just saying this for popularity or whatever. Leave a comment, let me know what your opinion is, I'd LOVE to hear it. Please and thank you, and I will see you next time:)
Thanks for the little shout out in the first post I like it!! :) Can't wait to see what else you post!
